One Organization. One Goal.
The Intergalactic Exploration Force (IEF) represents the pinnacle of humanity's quest to explore the vast unknown realms beyond our Solar System. Founded in 2050 by the Global Government the IEF has spent millennia studying and exploring the worlds beyond our own. Comprising a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and astronauts, the IEF is equipped with cutting-edge spacecraft and advanced technology designed to withstand the rigors of deep space. Their mission encompasses not only the search for extraterrestrial life but also the discovery of new planets, resources, and scientific phenomena that could revolutionize our understanding of the universe. By pushing the boundaries of space travel and fostering international collaboration, the Intergalactic Exploration Force embodies the spirit of curiosity and innovation that drives us to explore the cosmos and secure a future among the stars.
The Milkyway and Beyond
The IEF has several Stations throughout the universe. The first Station, or Station One was built in 2215 and was stationed near the center of the Milkyway Galaxy. Station One functions as the IEF's main base of operation. It is the largest Station in the IEF's arsenal, housing well over one billion inhabitants. Exploration Force Members as well as aliens reside on the stations, they are rich with extraterrestrial culture and are major trade hubs. Station Two was placed in the Andromeda Galaxy, slightly smaller than Station One, Station Two houses nearly 750 million inhabitants and is the main hub for the IEF in the Andromeda Galaxy. Throughout the IEF's history seven Stations have been implemented across the Universe and the IEF is always searching for new galaxies to expand too. Currently the IEF comprises of over 10 billion people across the seven galaxies. The members communicate information through the Alien World Database (AWD), where world information, alien species information and research can be shared and accessed.
Intergalactic Exploration Force Bases
IEF bases are five-story biodomes were researchers live and work. The bases are equipped with several restaurants, conference rooms, a science lab, a technology center, a farm to produce food and rooms for those who are stationed there. Most stations last 3 years or until a transfer request is made. Most members and agents get a choice in where they are stationed after leaving the Academy. Base data is stored on the AWD and can be accessed by an IEF member. Most bases are on planets for research purposes, resource use or colonization.
